The U.S. Oil & Gas Association’s president stated Monday that he is willing to buy a Tesla, the well-known electric car, in order to demonstrate “solidarity with the innovators and builders.”
The group claimed in a post on X that Tim Staewart is prepared to order a Tesla—not because he needs one.
“This Tesla is almost ready for the President of USOGA to order—not because he needs it, but to show support for the builders and innovators,” the post says. “Who would have imagined that we would survive to witness such events? There are dogs and cats living together. “Mass Hysteria”
The post includes a picture of a Tesla that costs $61,130 to buy.
