Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra users start receiving a 900MB software update. The latest firmware aims to improve security by installing the March 2025 security patches as well as enhancing the device performance.
Despite the huge size, Samsung hasn’t revealed exactly what the March 2025 software update brings to the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra.
Additionally, users having the Galaxy Watch 7 or Watch Ultra also receive respective Plugin app updates through Galaxy Store, which should optimize the new firmware.
If you own one of the two Galaxy Watch models in South Korea, you can identify the latest firmware through the PDA build version ending with AYCD.
Following the initial rollout, the Global expansion will take place over the next few days. Users residing in Europe and America should expect the update within this week.

Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, go to Watch settings, tap Watch software update, and select Download and install.
One UI Rollout
Samsung has recently released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy S24 series. That rollout is also limited to South Korea, with overseas expansion expected to happen from April 10 to April 14.
