GTA 6 Story Mode to Feature 5 Chapters, 700+ Stores to Rob

A major new leak has potentially confirmed just how long players will spend in GTA 6’s story mode — and it’s shaping up to be one of Rockstar’s biggest games yet.

According to trusted leaker GameRollGTA 6 will feature five main story chapters, hinting at a massive narrative structure similar in style to Red Dead Redemption 2, which had six chapters plus two epilogues across 94 missions.

While five chapters may not sound like much at first, it’s important to note that these are expected to act as acts or mission arcs, likely grouping together dozens of missions across the game’s sprawling new map — which includes Vice City and the broader Leonida State.

For comparison, GTA 5 had 70 story missions, GTA 4 had 88, and San Andreas tops the list with 100. If GTA 6 follows suit, we could be looking at over 90+ missions, especially given Rockstar’s ever-growing ambition in recent titles.

That’s not all. GameRoll also claims players will have access to over 700 enterable and robbable storesfunctional malls, and even male strippers, making it clear Rockstar is pulling out all the stops in building a dynamic and immersive world.

Players will reportedly control the dual protagonists Jason and Lucia, either individually or together using a character selection wheel, similar to GTA 5’s mechanic.

With a release date set for May 2026, Rockstar fans have plenty of time to speculate — but if these leaks are even partially accurate, GTA 6 could be the most content-rich entry the series has ever seen.
